I’ve always been a big gamer, and StarCraft was one of my favourites — I still remember the install code: 4835083090407.

In university I started working as a web developer and fell in love with building websites. Combine that with gaming and my love of writing and news, and when Blizzard announced StarCraft II, I started a blog covering it.

Daniel Hadhazi later asked me to move the site to an official-looking Hungarian domain. One thing led to another, and I was invited to BlizzCon 2008 — the only time I’ve been to the US to this day.

It was a fun project. A lot of people helped out, we got beta keys we gave away through games, and later found some advertisers too. The game itself was great, but in the end I chose to pursue a career in software engineering instead. The site’s long offline now — the link above points to an archived copy on the Wayback Machine.
